The new Y-series labels the World's first serial shoe with the unique option to mount your cleats in both, the traditional (metatarsal) position (first third) or the highly efficient mid foot (middle of the shoe) position. Using the same high-tech PU-coated, seamless upper as for our top-of-the-range carbon models, the only difference is the versatile 10mm nylon sole with its twin cleat design. The result: a likewise comfortable and affordable lightweight shoe (220gramms/M).

This is the perfect shoe for those keen to explore the benefits of mid foot cleat placement for themselves or use it as a spare pair without taking the ultimate 'carbon plunge' of our pro-models.

Confort and efficiency

Pedaling with the midfoot provides incredible comfort and remarkable efficiency. I have a pair of black Biomacs for winter and a white one for summer. It's perfect that way.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesen Midfoot-Klickschuhen! Der Unterschied zu herkömmlichen Klickschuhen ist deutlich spürbar – besonders bei längeren Fahrten. Die Kraftübertragung fühlt sich viel effizienter und gleichmäßiger an, und ich habe das Gefühl, dass meine Beine weniger ermüden. Auch die Position auf dem Pedal wirkt natürlicher und schont meine Gelenke. Für alle, die viel fahren oder auf Performance achten, sind diese Schuhe ein echter Gamechanger. Klare Empfehlung!

I’m a life long amateur cyclist, and wasn’t sure such a radical change in shoe design and plate position would be beneficial, but I am a convert now, the first thing I noticed was a huge decrease in foot temperature, especially on long climbs and less stress all around on my feet in general.
Light weight and pretty cool looking as well, id highly recommend them to any type of cyclist.

Highly recommend - Best cycling shoes!

These mid foot cycling shoes by Götz have been a game changer for me - they have helped me eliminate ‘toeing down’ in the pedal stroke (and hence helped my ankle pain), I can now also better use my glutes cycling and they have helped me improve my power on the bike. It’s a great quality cycling shoe that looks good too. Götz has been fantastic with checking measurements, etc to make sure you get the right size. I’ve loved my first pair so much - Y series black/silver with straps that I’ve purchased an additional pair in white/silver straps. I’m ordering all the way from Gold Coast - Australia.
